It's almost the weekend and over the next two days, we'll be mostly celebrating the Thames!
Here's a few things to keep you busy in London this weekend:
- Thames Festival - the Mayor’s popular festival returns this weekend, featuring art, music and educational events, not forgetting the all important Thames Festival Food Market. @ThamesFestival #ThamesFestival
- Butler's Wharf Blackout - plans to celebrate our mighty river and make it the centerpiece of the evening by turning out the lights! To coincide with the Thames Festival, they will be blacking out the electricity from 8.30pm every evening, giving diners a unique viewpoint free from the glare and hum of London lights.
- Carnaby Echoes - visit 20 Foubert's Place to see the Carnaby Echoes exhibition which celebrates the hidden music heritage of Carnaby. @carnabylondon #carnabyechoes
- POP - Hang-Up Gallery is hosting an exhibition of prints from the undisputed Godfather of pop, Sir Peter Blake. The exhibition will showcase a unique and quirky collection of rare prints and canvas editions that the British icon has produced over the decades.
