Tiny Fish Review

Tiny Fish review by journalist and travel writer Ellie Ross.

Animal print and the colour purple are two of my favourite things when it comes to clothing - even if the sound of it conjures up images of a psychedelic Kat Slater.

So these leggings from Tiny Fish were just the thing to take away for a surf and yoga retreat in Tiree, Scotland.

I fell in love with the pattern straight away - somewhere between crocodile and leopard print - and the vibrant violet and lilac shades jazzed up a plain black T-shirt.

With such an epic amount of body bending during the classes, I was worried they were a bit thin and could go see-through, and I had to hoist them up a couple of times.

But the material (they are made from Italian Lycra) was cool, comfortable and stretchy enough for everything from downward-facing dog to my atrocious attempt of the crow pose.

And thankfully they kept my skin fully under wraps.

There are 12 vivid designs to choose from, and their UV protection also makes them great for outdoor sports like running.

At almost £60, they are a bit on the pricy side, but if you’re after leggings that are both fun and functional, give these a go.

Price: £58.50
